ONLINE COURSE REGISTRATION THROUGH BANNER WEB
Summer Banner registration will open on April 15. Enrolled students should read the registration email in their Sewanee account with detailed information.
Please read the instructions below before starting registration. Your space in the class is reserved, but you must complete Banner registration to be admitted into the course. Please register for only the classes you requested or those confirmed in an email.
Students taking fiction classes: Please be sure to open your Sewanee email to read an important note about assigned sections for the two fiction courses.

Follow the link for BANNER SELF-SERVICE.
Log on with your Network ID (Your email address WITHOUT the @sewanee.edu suffix) and enter your password (the one that you created for email.)
HELP DESK If you are not able to log in at this point, please contact the Help Desk. They may be reached at helpdesk@sewanee.edu. Do not contact the School of Letters office. However, make a note that you are a School of Letters student accessing Banner to register for classes.

INSTRUCTIONS
Open the STUDENT SERVICES tab.
Choose REGISTRATION.
Click the Financial Responsibilities link. You must open and agree to the FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITY STATEMENT.
Select REGISTRATION link and enter this ADVISING PIN if asked:
SLET24
If you advising PIN does not work or if you receive an error, please contact the registrar's office at registrar@sewanee.edu.
Then, select Term: Summer 2024.
On the REGISTRATION WORKSHEET, please enter:
-English
-Graduate
-College of Arts and Sciences
and then click SEARCH. 500 level English classes will be available. Once one or more courses have been successfully registered, the results will be displayed. You may then click on the STUDENT DETAIL SCHEDULE for confirmation. Please do not email the School of Letters office for confirmation.
Fiction students, please choose the correct section for both forms and the workshops. You have an email in your Sewanee account with this information. Everyone else should register for the classes they requested on their preregistration form.
Thesis hours are ENGL 599, and please select 6 hours total.
The independent study is ENGL 544 (CRN 95053).
Craft & Practice is ENGL 545. All students must also register for the one-credit Craft & Practice class, ENGL 545. If a student has already completed 18 credits and intends to finish their coursework in Summer 2024, or if they plan to enroll in only one summer class, then C&P is optional. Otherwise, it is required for all students. More details can be found on the courses page.

NOTE: A bill for tuition and fees will be posted to your student account following registration through NelNet. This may take a day or so to be processed. You can see your bill anytime after that online. One will not be emailed to you until just before classes begin. NelNet can be accessed here.
NOTE: Scholarship information is usually posted after 36 - 72 hours. After that time if you do not see your scholarship posted, please email finaid@sewanee.edu.
NOTE: Housing costs will be added to your account in May.
