We are excited to welcome everyone to the mountain for our summer session. Here is the 2024 check-in schedule:
Sunday June 4
2:00 PM - 4:00 PM Check-in on the porch of the Georgia Avenue Townhouses. Our proctor and other staff will be there to greet you. Who needs to check in?
- Residents of Georgia Avenue Townhouses
- Residents of University Houses
If you don't need a key, you are not required to check in. If you have requested an ID card, it will be at the Library circulation desk.
4:00 - 4:45 PM Only students in Townhouses and Houses: Mandatory Policy/Safety Meeting Location: Social Lodge, on the corner next to Georgia Avenue residence halls.
5:30 PM - 7:30 PM For all students, faculty and staff: Welcome Cookout on the McClurg Dining Hall back porch. All students, faculty and guests have a free option to eat on the back porch of McClurg Dining Hall on Sunday evening. McClurg Dining Hall is the large hall to the right of the Chapel from University Avenue, and it is walking distance from the townhouses.
Parking: On Sunday students at the residence hall will be able to pull up outside to unload, and then park at the Humphries lot. All houses have parking.
Students will be given special parking passes for the summer. You do not need to fill out a form. Student parking is available on Alabama Avenue. You can find all student lots by searching for "student parking" on this campus map.
